Augmented & virtual reality
The future is now
Augmented and virtual reality are competing to provide a more natural interface between humans and machines. Both are based on similar technological foundations and demand high processing power and advanced algorithms, but they provide quite different experiences. Augmented reality has proven itself in a number of applications in recent years, while we are yet to see a killer application of virtual reality, despite all the hype and money poured into the technology.
We have been building solutions based on these technologies since 2011, starting with an award-winning augmented reality game
for our client Kraš, where stickers found in chocolate bars were used to bring 3D dinosaurs to life in an online multiplayer strategic game. More recently, we used advanced sensors to remotely control an animal feeding robot
with hand gestures at a crowded event.
These advanced technologies help us provide digital experiences with that WOW factor that is often the difference between being cool and being just another player.
The use of augmented reality marks a successful transition of a traditional brand into a digital sphere, while safeguarding all of its basic core values: education, collecting and fun.
