We combined the online game with actual playing cards to make learning about dinosaurs even more fun.
The goal of the project was to create a new product line that would modernize this traditional brand by using digital technologies but, at the same time, keeping its core values: fun, education and collectibles.
New line of chocolate bars with 50 dinosaur stickers was created, along with the social strategic game with special cards. By learning about the dinosaur characteristics, the game could be played both as a board game and online, with various numbers of players, with or without the stickers.
Full functionality was achieved by attaching the highest number of stickers on corresponding game cards, as well as by playing online on the website igraoni.ca with the help of augmented reality technology.
The application would recognize the cards by web camera and thereby fill out collector’s virtual album, at the same time enabling the users to study the animated 3D dinosaur models, play with dinosaurs and play with other online players.
Životinjsko carstvo brand was modernized while preserving its core values.
The web application reached 20.000 registered collectors of the stickers, and igraoni.ca website received a total of 130.000 unique visitors from the entire region.
Kraš is known on the local, but also regional online market, for using advanced technology and its modern approach to its consumers. This project is an excellent example of successful coexistence of quality tradition and modern technology.
